Look.

Don’t judge me, okay? [This is a Judgment Free Zone.]

I’m not a chronic hair product eater or anything…but I have touched some whipped shea butter to the tip of my tongue before. Just for a second. When no one was around. Maybe twice. Just to make sure I tasted what I tasted. And then once more to confirm I liked it.

Hey. You can’t keep making all of these smell-goody products and expect me not to be curious! And if the products are “all natural” like you claim, then why can’t I appease my curiousity sometimes!

Never mind. Y’all are judging. I can feel it.

*stomps out of room*

*waits a while for dramatic effect then returns*

Hmph. I hope y’all feel bad for making me all self-conscious and stuff.

But yeah…there have been a couple D.I.Y. situations where I have tasted ingredients. I’ll admit that. So what! Now I’m not THAT reckless so I usually Google “What happens if you consume XYZ” first. No unnecessary self-imposed emergency room bills over here! It’s also an extremely rare thing for me to even think of doing this.

I’m not encouraging you to do this. At all. I just had to get that off of my chest.

I hope you um…don’t like…um…look at me differently now.

Um…bye.

Speaking of this topic! I remember once tasting a bit of Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie…and it was noticeably sweet (although it had a side effect of briefly numbing my tongue, like an anesthetic). Pretty interesting stuff!
