A few weeks ago, I received Josie Maran Argan Oil Hair Serum to review. I actually had a pleasant experience with it the first time around. I’m a fan of hair serums so I gave it a spin.

When I received the Josie Maran Oil Hair Serum, I had JUST installed my Marley twists so my hair was not out. However, I still found a way to use it. I’m not a big fan using gel to smooth down frizz in my protective styles. It builds up and you end up with a lot of gunk in your hair when you take your braids or twists down. This serum was just what I needed! It helped keep the frizz under control and my Marley twists looked super shiny without a greasy feeling. It also has a nice light citrusy scent. The serum was especially helpful after I washed my twists. Many ladies dread having to wash their protective styles because frizz from our hair can become an issue and shorten the wear time of the style. The Argan Oil Hair Serum helped me minimize frizz after my shampoo as well. 
I basically used the serum as my sealant. I would put a couple drops in my hand and smooth it on my twists, focusing on the roots where my actual hair was. When I took my twists out, my hair was left soft and shiny–it also smelled great, which was a plus. I really didn’t want to wash my hair because it looked so good, but I had to because I was way overdue for a good shampoo. My only real complaint about the hair serum would have to be the price. Overall, Jose Maran Argan Oil Hair Serum is great stuff! I’ll be doing a second review on my loose hair soon! (I’m actually doing my hair with it as we speak!)
