Karen’s Body Beautiful Hair Mask + Sweet Ambrosia Leave-in

I’ve always wanted to try Karen’s Body Beautiful products. I think the first time I ever heard of KBB was from Mae of Natural Chica and she got an ultra bomb twist-out using the Sweet Ambrosia and I was like “oooOOooo” However, I was caught in a whirlwind of products and never got around to ordering some because I was trying to get a handle on my Product Junkyism by using what I already had first.

But now the time has come…

First…a little info:

First up! The Luscious Locks Hair Mask.

I loved it. The texture was very similar to my staple deep conditioner which put me at ease. (You know…I had the First Try Jitters…) I left the Hair Mask on for about 40 minutes while I got some other things done around the house.

Detangling was a breeeeeeze which was great because my hair was really tangled during this wash. My comb slid right on through each section. Would I use the Hair Mask again? Yes, yes, yes. My hair was super soft. Go ahead…touch the picture…I know you want to…

After rinsing out the Hair Mask, I put my hair into medium-sized twists using the Sweet Ambrosia Leave-in Conditioner. Ready for the results?

 This is after I took out the twists without separating the sections any further.

I used a little Shea Radiance Moisture Rich Hair Butter on my fingertips while I separated my twists more to get some volume going.

 Yup. I recommend both products. Super pleased….thank you, Karen!!!! These are really awesome products!
