Rihanna rocks locs on American Idol

I am a Rihanna fan.

Like all the way from Music of the Sun, Pon De Replay Rihanna fan.

So when I heard that Rihanna was going to be performing on American Idol’s finale last night, I had to make sure I tuned in.

You can never expect Rihanna to dress or style her hair in a conventional way so I wasn’t surprised to see her appear with loc extensions in her head. I think she looks good in almost anything so I think she pulled them off pretty well. Before her performance she posted a sneak peek of her new ‘do:

I wonder if there’s going to be a new trend of locs on women—rapper Nicki Minaj recently wore a wig with locs for a video.
