Today marks a year since I launched HairGetsKinky.com…I can’t believe it has been a year! Time surely flies!

I just want to take a moment to thank all of you for reading and commenting and supporting my blog. It means more than you know! I remember how hesitant I was to go the natural hair blog route because I didn’t want to be lost in the sauce with the countless blogs that already exist. It is so humbling to see that other people can still relate to you and your story and find your point of view helpful to them despite the many resources that came before you. I’ve connected with so many great and inspiring people this past year through HairGetsKinky.com and on Twitter with @HGKWW. I am really excited about what is to come for 2012 and hope that you all continue to stick with me!

Look out for giveaways throughout the month to celebrate my first year!
