Hey Curlies & Kinkettes!

I’m finally done my first month of my three-month trial of Viviscal (I missed a few days so it took me 5 extra days to get through the pack).

***You can check out my introduction post HERE for more info about Viviscal.

I’m going to keep this simple and list my observations so far:

  • My edges appear to be filling out. I have this one really small patch of hair that a friend braided too tight in high school that never really grew back right. I think it is looking a little better. I’ve also been giving myself scalp massages this month so I’m not sure if it’s the Viviscal or the oil I’ve been using on my edges or a combo.
  • The spot across from my pinky was where my hairline was thin from excessive pulling. I’ll keep watching to see if improves any more.

  • I’m hairier. Not just on my scalp. But on my legs and my underarms and other places I keep shaved regularly. I’m not going to say that my unwanted hair is growing faster, but the strands are definitely thicker, making stubble more noticeable sooner. Bleh. But if anything, hopefully the same thickening is happening on my head as well.
  • Viviscal tastes a little funny. I mean, you’re supposed to just swallow it but you know that hover time it spends on your tongue before it goes down? Yeah. That’s when I taste it.
  • It is honestly too soon to see any major changes so I will continue to take note of my hair during the next month! I will also make a better effort NOT to forget to take Viviscal every day. I slipped up a few times and don’t want to sabotage my results!
